PIP technology consists of adequately galvanized coaxial pipes to prevent the electrode from getting corroded. The volume between the inner and outer pipes of the electrode is occupied by CompactFill, a compound formula developed by CIKIT which aids in increasing the electrical conductivity, service life and current with-stand capacity of the earthing electrode. It constitutes elements picked up from nature and is anti corrosive too. When compared to the plate earth system the pipe earth system can carry larger leakage currents as a much larger surface area is in contact with the soil for a given electrode size.

HDGI Pipe In Pipe Earthing Electrode are two pipes which are made of one smaller dia Hot Dip Galvanised Iron pipe fitted into a larger dia Hot Dip Galvanised Iron pipe. The cavity within and inside the pipes are compactly filled with a highly conductive and anti-corrosive material to extend the service life of these electrodes.
